I guess this is the page where I'm supposed to "blow my own horn". I'm not much on self-promotion like some of the "big name" guys (in fact I find it embarrassing), but budding photographers who are looking for workshops to attend want to see some credentials. So without further ado...
I am a nature/wildlife photographer & photo workshop leader based in Eugene, Oregon. I first picked up a camera in 1972 in a high school art class and immediately fell hopelessly in love with photography. In 1989 I sold my first magazine cover to Traditional Bowhunter Magazine, and to date have three book covers and more than 30 magazine cover photos to my credit.
An active member of the Emerald Photographic Society, past awards include Digital Photographer of the Year (2007), Slide Photographer of the Year (2007), Slide of the Year (2007), The top 3 places in the Nature category for Slide of the Year (2007), Slide Photographer of the Year in the Nature category(2003), and a First Place in the Columbia Council of Camera Clubs annual Digital Slide Show competition (2006). This past summer (2007) I also took First Place in all three categories entered in the Professional Division of the Lane County Fair.
As of July 1st, 2008 I have signed on with The Outdoor Speaker's Agency offering photographic seminars at functions around the country.

But the main thing is, I really enjoy teaching
others what I know based on 35 years behind the
camera.
